LDN day 17

Its been a while since i last posted, a difficult few days. The LDN I think made my symptoms worse. But as soon as I went up to 3ml on week 3, my condition has improved during the day. The strange thing is that by 10 or 11 pm my pain comes back and I start to flare  up. It is so quick its bizarre. I have more energy once i am up. Trouble is I tend to sleep more, but thats not a bad thing. Signing off for now bit too  tired.

LDN DAY 10 Changing time of day to take LDN to the Evening.

After reading this https://sites.google.com/site/dudleyslowdosenaltrexonesites/home/side-effects-and-dosing-of-ldn

I have decided that it is probably best that I take my LDN at night. I guess I was a bit concerned about taking it a night originally. Most of my health problems happen in the early hours of the night or first thing in the morning, so originally I was worried about making things worse. Based on the fact that I am not getting a major improvement in health, I am going to take an extra dose tonight ...2ml so bringing it forward by 8 hours. So I guess it is kind of an overdose! . I am not too concerned and it seems that LDN has a life of 3 hours in the body and so theory is that my morning 2ml will be out of my system (even though the effects will still be present) Yes a human guinea pig. One day soon ...you Doctors will be getting your acts together and prescribing and monitoring your patents properly!!  This is certainly not the case in France. I am looking forward to seeing the response from the Hospital in Limoges...and to see what the Professor will say. I am expecting the usual ...arrogant attitude that I have experienced in the past! However this time...I am going armed with print outs in French about LDN (thanks to http://sep.over-blog.com/ for translating this ) and belive me I am not going to bullshitted by any pumped up so called EX-spert. Sorry for the language but I have just about had enough of countless so called medical experts about how taking my anti inflammatories will cause no harm and that one should not take warning notices to seriously (in terms of side effects listed) I have even been advised not to look on the internet too much ...LOL LOL really !! If it was not for the internet and blogs etc etc...I would never have found out about LDN and I would probably be in hospital as I type now!!

Rant over! Sorry but had enough and better out than in! Doctors prepare yourself ...Alex is coming to a hospital near you and will stand no bullshit!

Thats all for now...motivated and out!

I'll leave you with a tulip from my garden ...to brighten your day.

LDN Day 9

Day 9 ....

Well I see what they mean about vivid dreams, even my day dreams are vivid....Its odd but if thats all that I get...versus ....being in hospital as a result of taking the "standard" stuff...then ...I can handle that!

Very tired this morning...had to go back to bed for two hours..Not so much pain but just unable to concentrate. Kind of the feeling you get when you have the flu. I also noticed that I get very cold easily ..this is not a change since taking LDN. Swelling in fingers still the same.  I have noticed that I have more energy in the afternoon, ( I take my LDN in the morning) I am not sure why this is?

Well thats all for now... I'll leave you with Marius under atttack( By Max ...no animal was harmed....well he fell asleep LOL)

Very tired today ..day 8 LDN

Not sure what the situation is but bad today and very tired, had to have a catnap...twice ...normally once is enough!  I am on the second day of 2ml so hoping it may help soon. I am only taking Aspirin as my pain killer as I can not tolerate any other cox 2 inhibitors...yet. To be honest I am don't feel like trying any others just yet as I am sure it is one of the reasons I ended up in hospital ...last time I took them for 3 weeks!

Nothing else to report so I shall leave you with a picture of my Quince tree in blossom. :-)

This has just come through for all you fibromyalgia sufferers ...spread the word please. Check it out and share on the social networks please

LDN day 7

Its been a hard few days.  My hands have started tho flare up. Middle nuckle of my left hand is hurting and I can see the red swelling on most knuckles. Today I have upped the dose to 2ml. I seem to have a lot more energy which is great, but my arthritis is not being helped yet. Still early days as it has only been a week od 1ml per day. Made the mistake of going for a long  mountain bike ride.i regret it now as my condition is worse as a result. I thought  it may help but not this time.  Sun is out garden looking great so thats good news. Signing off for now. Have a nice day.

Day 2 LDN (low dose naltrexone treatment)

I am not feeling too ruff (LOL) could not resist....today...No major changes in health...the normal aches and pains no improvement or worsening .... I thought a change from the normal body parts picture...you could look at this handsome devil instead. My name is Marius...I am a rescue dog...and a very shy but lovely dog. I am in masters garden ...(but not allowed to poo! most unfair...) He takes me out to poo in other peoples gardens ...LOL

Slept normally ...and better than normal...not sure if it is the new drugs or me being a bit more relaxed at having an alternative treatment to try. I had a lovely call from my 92 year old Nan via skype on her Kindle fire...how about that? amazing ...92 and skyping away ...! I want to record every moment...so I never forget the experience. My Nan has Rheumatoid  Arthritis so we often exchange notes and pains! She does not think its  fair that a 42 year old should suffer like this ...nor do I!

I thought I would mention...just incase anyone tries the same treatment. I am cutting back nearly all sugars and gluten . Its sort of part Palaeo with a twist ...I allow the odd bit of starch and medicinal 85% Dark Chocolate. I did the reset diet about 2 months ago. I find that I am less tiered than I was. I also take 2 turmeric supplements, high dose of Vit D and krill oil and 1 multivitamin.   When I was on immunosuppressants ... I really needed the extra vitamins ...as my immune system was lowered by them. I guess this is why I am happier to take LDN as it enhances the immune systems job rather than suppress parts of the process...my instinct tells me this is a more intelligent approach...but will have to see the results to see what happens...fingers crossed!

Signing off now. I'll leave you with one of my flowers from my little garden to cheer you up. (if you need cheering up!)

Day 1 LDN arrives (low dose Naltrexone )

At last it has arrived . Home delivery all the way from bonnie Scotland. Many thanks to Dicksons Chemist for dispensing this treatment and for going against the grain! Not much changed from yesterday , except weird dreams and warm sensation around my body. I am not expecting much to start off with.
But this has got to better than the standard crap the average Rhumy will provide. I know their are exceptions but the most part prescribe the same stuff. Personally I think it's the anti inflammatorys that do the most damage. So I am starting of with the recommended dose at 1ml. Report back later.
